Bertha Benz Prize
In order to draw attention to the achievements of women in engineering, and to encourage them to take up studies in these disciplines and to pursue an academic career, the Daimler and Benz Foundation awards the “Bertha Benz Prize” each year to a female engineer who has completed an outstanding doctorate in Germany with the title “Dr.-Ing.” The prize is endowed with 15,000 euros.

June 2027 - Award ceremony
The Bertha Benz Prize is scheduled to be presented in June 2027 in Heidelberg
