Crown Graduate Fellowship

The Crown Family Center for Jewish and Israel Studies supports the Crown Fellowship, an award given annually to a Northwestern graduate student whose research bears on some aspect of Jewish history, culture, or religion. The award includes a tuition scholarship and monthly stipend.

The Crown Family Center for Jewish and Israel Studies is pleased to announce competition for the 2026-27 Crown Fellowship.  Interested candidates should send an application consisting of (1) an updated CV, (2) a dissertation prospectus (up to five pages) along with an anticipated schedule for completion, (3) two letters of recommendation, and (4) a cover letter from the chair of the student's program that describes the status of the applicant's funding for 2026-27.  Please submit the materials by April 15 to jewish-studies@northwestern.edu.
