The New York Historical┋Helen and Robert Appel Fellowship in History and Technology
This residential fellowship supports a scholar who earned their Ph.D. at least one year before the start of the fellowship and whose research project explores the impact of technology on history. Applications for this fellowship should specify collections in The New York Historical’s Patricia D. Klingenstein Library that will be crucial to the research project. The ten-month fellowship will carry a stipend of $60,000, plus benefits; it begins September 9, 2026, and lasts through June 30, 2027.
