D. Kim Foundation for the History of Science and Technology in East Asia
Established in 2008, the D. Kim Foundation is dedicated to furthering the study of the history of science and technology in modern East Asia (primarily the twentieth century on).
The Foundation provides annual fellowships to encourage and support graduate students and young scholars in the field. Comparative studies of East Asia and the West as well as studies in related fields (mathematics, medicine and public health) are also welcome. Fellowships and grants are not limited to students studying at US universities; students at non-US universities are strongly encouraged to apply.
