The Young Academy for Sustainability Research (YAS) seeks to foster cross-disciplinary cooperation between distinguished young scholars in the field of sustainability research. The Academy’s objective is to provide an institutional structure that will enable early-career researchers to foster multidisciplinary dialogue and collaboration, to start collaborative projects, and to engage with the general public. The University of Oxford is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant to play a key role in the multi-year international research project, “Operation Pangolin: Unifying Diverse Data Streams to Redefine Species Conservation.” The postholder will be an experienced social scientist, with expertise in conducting fieldwork and data analysis to understand social-ecological systems, including institutional arrangements.
