Annual Grants
The German Center for Art History (DFK Paris) awards several annual grants (from September 2021 to August 2022) within a specific thematic framework, which will be announced in February.
The grants are mainly geared toward PhD and postdoctoral students in art history whose research projects are related to the annual theme. The call for proposals will be announced internationally via the customary digital outlets. Final selections will be made by the DFK Paris.
The financial aid usually consists of a monthly stipend of €1,700. Grant recipients also receive expertise on institutions and research and may use the institute’s facilities. Please send your complete application (ca. 3 pages, including a brief project description, schedule and information on sources), CV and a letter of recommendation in one single PDF document.
