Call for applications for Ph.D. Researchers at the Instituto Estudos Medievais

The IEM has opened a competitive international selection procedure for the hiring of 3 PhD Researchers for six months, within the scope of the Strategic project of the Institute of Medieval Studies (IEM), through the Programmatic Financing of the Institute of Medieval Studies – UIDP/ 00749/2020.

The competition is open until May 28th, and applications must be sent to the email drhrecrutamento@fcsh.unl.pt, accompanied by the following documents:

1. a) Application form (available as a model) containing explicit mention of this procedure;
2. b) a Copy of the certificate proving the obtaining of the doctoral degree and/or, if foreign higher education institutions awarded the degree, declaration of honor by the specific draft (available here);
3. c) Copy of the candidate’s CV;
4. d) Research project and respective Work Plan;
5. e) Letter of Motivation.

These vacancies that now open aim to select three doctorate researchers to develop a research project that falls within one of the areas of study included in the IEM strategic project, namely:

• Medieval Lisbon;
• Medieval Military Architecture;
• Medieval Jewish or Islamic Studies.
