Multicultural Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow
Phillips Academy seeks applications from individuals interested in a one-year appointment, to begin in September of 2023, to the position of Multicultural Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow. As an intentionally diverse community, we seek a culturally sensitive and responsive postdoctoral fellow in clinical or counseling psychology. The goals of the postdoctoral fellowship are to learn to provide a balance of both short- and long-term counseling and psychotherapy, as well as consultation/liaison (CL) services. The fellow will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare and residential school team. The fellow will participate in weekly staff meetings and weekly psychiatry meetings and will receive two hours of weekly individual supervision as well as group supervision as needed. Opportunities to teach a weekly Empathy, Balance, and Inclusion (EBI) class and to assist in program development are also available. All applicants must have completed an APA approved internship and have specific previous clinical experience with adolescents, ideally in a secondary and/or residential educational setting. Additionally, applicants should have knowledge, experience, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as experience with multicultural counseling.
