Turku Intersectoral Excellence Scheme (TIES)

TIES is a ground-breaking fellowship scheme based at UTU Turku Institute for Advanced Studies (TIAS). Eight TIES Fellows were appointed to three-year positions in 2023.

Now TIAS invites applications for up to ten (10) TIES2 Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowship positions. TIES2 Fellows will be appointed for three years from 1 September 2026 and will undertake a secondment of three to twelve months in an organisation outside higher education sector.

Applicants must meet the EU MSCA mobility rule that they must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Finland for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline.
