Visiting Fellow Research Stays at MaxPo
MAXPO is closed indefinitely
Building on the successful ten-year visiting scholar program at Sciences Po initiated by the Max Planck Sciences Po Center on Coping with Instability in Market Societies (MaxPo), Sciences Po is welcoming applications from senior academics forresearch staysof 1-2 months at Sciences Po in the heart of Paris. Visitors will work in close cooperation with the affiliated research centers, the Center for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE), the Center for the Sociology of Organizations (CSO), and the Observatoire Sociologique du Changement (OSC). We encourage researchers with projects in economic sociology, political economy, economic history or related fields to apply.
We are especially interested in research topics that align with the future research focus on Democratic Societies in the Digital Age, exploring the challenges of digitalization for markets, social cohesion and equality, and political institutions.
The visiting scholars program offers desk space and a stipend to help cover accommodation expenses in Paris. Applicants must have their own additional funding to cover living expenses. Visiting fellows will present their work in a dedicated research seminar series and are expected to make themselves available for discussion with early career researchers.
Please send a cover letter, CV, and a short description (1-2 pages) of your research project by April 30, 2022 for stays planned between September 2022–June 2023 to allison.rovny@sciencespo.fr.
