International Baccalaureate® (IB)

Founded in 1968, the International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation offering four highly respected programmes of international education that develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. Schools must be authorized, by the IB organization, to offer any of the programmes.

The International Baccalaureate® (IB)  is more than its educational programmes and certificates. At our heart we are motivated by a mission to create a better world through education.

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is led by the Board of Governors, the Director General and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Research plays a central role in the development, quality assurance, and assessment of impact of IB programmes and services. The IB both conducts its own research and partners with leading universities and research institutions across the world.
