Safe Place For Science

At a time when academic freedom is sometimes called into question, Aix-Marseille Université is launching the Safe Place For Science program, offering a safe and stimulating environment for scientists wishing to pursue their research in complete freedom.

In a context where some scientists in the United States may feel threatened or hindered in their research, our university is announcing the launch of the Safe Place For Science program, dedicated to welcoming scientists wishing to pursue their work in an environment conducive to innovation, excellence and academic freedom.

Research Development International Collaboration Awards

The new Research Development International (RDI) Collaboration Awards are designed to catalyse, support and advance collaborative research development between University of Bristol academics and colleagues from around the world, resulting in high quality research outcomes and impacts. Applicants must demonstrate clear and explicit plans for collaborative research funding bids, as well as other outcomes including policy briefings, and/or international co-authored publications.

RT2E Call for Applications

Air pollution remains one of the most urgent challenges in global public health. Governments and international organizations focus on monitoring classical air pollutants, such as fine particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). However, the rapid evolution of climate change, natural disasters, and the emergence of new environmental contaminants suggest that critical factors related to air pollution may still be overlooked by current monitoring systems.

Memberships “Young Academy for Cultures and Societies Research” (YAC)

The Freiburg Postdoctoral Academy (FPA) invites early career researchers from various disciplines to apply for 10 memberships in the newly launched Young Academy for Cultures and Societies Research (YAC). The programme, running from October 2025 to September 2028, focuses on the topic “The Good Life – What Makes a Good Society” and offers individual and group research budgets, networking opportunities, and project support.
