Activities under this topic respond directly to the goal of the Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe' (Mission Soil) to set up 100 living labs and lighthouses to lead the transition to healthy soils by 2030.
The Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study (SCAS) offers short-term research stays (approximately two weeks to two months) to scholars from all countries. Short-term research stays are offered during the autumn and spring semesters, depending on various circumstances, such as the availability of office space. The research stays give scholars the opportunity to concentrate on their own research interests, free from the teaching and administrative duties of ordinary university life.
Successful proposals will contribute to the expected impacts of this destination notably by identifying mechanisms to raise awareness on the biodiversity crisis and on opportunities of biodiversity protection and restoration including for climate mitigation and adaptation.
