The purpose of the grant is to give newly qualified researchers with a doctoral degree from a Swedish university the opportunity to expand their networks and their competences by working abroad under secure employment conditions. The grant is also intended to promote the quality and renewal of Swedish research.

TORCH (The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities) aims to stimulate and support interdisciplinary research activity. The TORCH International Engagement Fund supports such collaborations explicitly with partners outside the UK. The Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme (FMSH) offers short-term fellowships of two to four months in France to Iranian postdoctoral researchers currently residing in Iran.

This mobility aid is intended to enable them to conduct research work in France within a hosting research center: field research, work in libraries and archives, integration into research programmes and international collaborations. 

This chair focuses on interdisciplinary research around “work utopias,” addressing the themes of agricultural and artistic labor in the contexts of Northern and Southern Europe. The proposed approach aims to encourage the emergence of innovative models, based on cooperation, interaction, and the recognition of the various stakeholders involved.

Any interested artist and/or scientist may apply for only one position among those offered above. Applicants who are former Iméra residents may reapply at least 5 years after their initial research stay.

The chair “Transdisciplinarity and Complex Systems,” offered by Iméra in partnership with the Excellence Chair “t-co.re@AMU” (Transdisciplinarity and Complexity Research at AMU) aims to support excellent interdisciplinary research focused on complex systems. The main goal is to rethink science and how “complexity science” do influence our understanding of the world and complex systems.
