FCT Mobility

FCT is launching the new FCT Mobility programme to support the international mobility of researchers.

Overview and objectives

The FCT Mobility programme is designed to support the international mobility of researchers. The programme will fund medium and long-term stays for national doctoral researchers in foreign institutions, and for foreign doctoral researchers in national institutions, with a view to carrying out research and/or fieldwork activities.

DEA Programme

The DEA Program offers university professors from around the world the opportunity to carry out research in the humanities and social sciences (HSS) in France during stays of four to six weeks.

Each year, the programme supports up to 30 projects, with a selection rate of approximately 30%.

Particular consideration is given to applications from countries where funding opportunities for the humanities and social sciences are limited, as well as to scholars for whom a stay in France would provide a significant opportunity to foster scientific collaboration.

Archives Prize of the André Gide-Jean Schlumberger Centre

The Prize

The purpose of the prize is to encourage the writing of a study or an essay (literary, historical or artistic).

It is made up of both

  • an allowance of €2,650 per month, the duration of which may not exceed the number of months allocated by the steering committee,
  • a one-month stay in residence at the Fondation des Treilles, in particular to access documentary and archival collections

The candidates

Applications are open to all nationalities and all disciplines.

Fondation des Treilles Research residencies

Each year, the Fondation des Treilles welcomes international researchers in individual or small group stays (with a maximum of 4 people) from one to three weeks. These residencies are opened to all academic disciplines and offer an opportunity to dedicate time to work such as writing an article, finalizing a publication, initiating a research or exhibition project, and more.

During your stay, the foundation provides you with the best conditions you need to devote yourself entirely to the project for which you have been selected.
