Fellow for the Intercontinental Academy (ICA)
The ICA seeks to create a global network of future research leaders by constructing an arena in whichthe very best early/mid-career scholars will work together on paradigm-shifting cross-disciplinary research, mentored by some of the most eminent researchers from across the globe. A key aspect is deriving the full benefit of the intercontinental origins of the endeavor and diversity of thought and culture.
Chair “Major Societal Changes”
Sorbonne University – Paris IAS research Chair on “Major Societal Changes”.
Impacts and ethical dimensions of environmental transition and/or artificial intelligence
In partnership with Sorbonne University, the Paris Institute for Advanced Study is offering a 10-month chair for high-level international researchers in the social sciences and humanities during the academic year 2023–24 (from September 1st2023 to June 30th 2024).
PhD Fellowships at CEFRES
CEFRES offers year-long fellowships at the center to 2nd year and above PhD students from France, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. Fellows’ research should contribute to one of CEFRES’s research areas. The amount of the fellowship is 20 000 CZK per month during 12 months. Good command of English is mandatory, command of French is appreciated. The selected PhD fellows will join CEFRES team and take part in the center’s scientific life.
Early-career short-term fellowship "Brain Culture and Society"
The Paris Institute for Advanced Study welcomes applications from high level early career researchers in the fields of the humanities, social sciences, cognitive sciences, and neurosciences for a research stay up to 3 months during the academic year 2020-2021 within the framework of its “Brain, Culture and Society program”.
The call is for post-doc researchers wishing to prepare a project for a large grant application (like ANR grants or ERC “Starting grants”)
Fellowships in the "Brain, culture and society program" for Senior researcher
The Paris Institute for Advanced Study welcomes applications from high level international scholars and scientists in the fields of the humanities, social sciences, cognitive sciences, and neurosciences for a research stay of five or ten months during the academic year 2021-2022 within the framework of its “Brain, Culture and Society program”.
Fellowships in the "Brain, culture and society program" for Junior researcher
The Paris Institute for Advanced Study welcomes applications from high level international scholars and scientists in the fields of the humanities, social sciences, cognitive sciences, and neurosciences for a research stay of five or ten months during the academic year 2021-2022 within the framework of its “Brain, Culture and Society program”.
