James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions Visiting Fellows and Postdoctoral Research Associates

Each year the Program invites scholars with established records as well as scholars who have recently received their doctorates to apply for appointments as Visiting Fellows, Associate Research Scholars, and Postdoctoral Research Associates. Scholars in the James Madison Program pursue their own research and writing, participate in courses, seminars and colloquia, and contribute to the intellectual life of the Department of Politics and Princeton University.

Wayne Vucinich Fellowship in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies

The Wayne Vucinich Fellowship is a twelve-week residential fellowship at the Stanford University Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (CREEES). During the fellowship period, the Vucinich Fellow is expected to pursue her or his independent research in residency and to participate actively in the scholarly activities of the Center. The fellow will have access to Stanford University Libraries and the Hoover Institution Library and Archives as well as a community of scholars at Stanford.

Canadian Studies Postdoctoral Fellowships

With one or two grants per year, we wish to enable international (and Canadian scholars), who have completed a doctoral thesis (within the last 5 years) on a topic primarily related to Canada and are not tenured to visit a Canadian (or international university) with a Canadian Studies program for a research fellowship.

LENGTH OF STAY

The length of the stay will be a minimum of one month and maximum of four months.

AMOUNT OF GRANT

The grant will be CDN$2,000 – 2,500 per month plus the cost of a return economy airline ticket for a maximum of CDN$10,000.
