The University of Alberta offers two postdoctoral fellowships:
The Starr Center for the Study of the American Experience invites applications for its full-time residential fellowship, which supports outstanding work on American history by both scholars and non-academics.
The Center’s Patrick Henry History Fellowship includes a $45,000 stipend, health benefits, faculty privileges, a book allowance, and a nine-month residency (during the academic year) in a historic 18th-century house in Chestertown, Md.
The Leibniz-Zentrum für Zeithistorische Forschung Potsdam / Leibniz Centre for Contemporary History Potsdam (ZZF) is pleased to invite applications for three
Leibniz Summer Fellowships in the field of “German and/or European (including Eastern European) History in the 20th century”.
These two-months fellowships provide an opportunity to pursue individual research in Germany while participating in the academic life of one of Germany’s major historical research centres.
The University Center for Human Values invites applications for Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Faculty Fellowships for academic year 2024-25. Fellows devote an academic year in residence to research and writing about topics involving human values in public and private life. This full-time visiting program is open to scholars in all disciplines across the humanities and social sciences. For 2024-25, the Center's designated research theme is Criminal Justice, but scholars need not work on Criminal Justice to apply.

Each year the Program invites scholars with established records as well as scholars who have recently received their doctorates to apply for appointments as Visiting Fellows, Associate Research Scholars, and Postdoctoral Research Associates. Scholars in the James Madison Program pursue their own research and writing, participate in courses, seminars and colloquia, and contribute to the intellectual life of the Department of Politics and Princeton University.
