W. Michael Blumenthal Postdoc at the Jewish Museum Berlin

The Jewish Museum Berlin numbers among the foremost European museums since its opening in 2001. The museum’s exhibitions, collections, events and educational programs mark it as the major institution for the presentation of and reflection on the history and culture of Jews in Germany. The Academy of the museum was founded in 2012 and is dedicated to current social and political issues. The primary thematic focus of the Academy’s program is devoted to “Migration and Diversity” and a “Jewish-Islamic Forum.”

Kiriyama Fellowship at USF Center for Asia Pacific Studies

The University of San Francisco Center for Asia Pacific Studies is pleased to announce the call for applicants for the Kiriyama Fellowship (AY 2016-2017), a 9-month fellowship appointment (Sept. 1, 2016 – May 31, 2017) with a salary of $44,000 plus benefits.

The Center for Asia Pacific Studies is San Francisco’s academic gateway to the Asia Pacific, fostering and promoting innovative research, teaching and public programs on the peoples and cultures of the region.
