The Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Scheme develops research, teaching and learning, management and communication skills to shape the next generation of leading academics at UTS. This year, we're pleased to announce the launch of the Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Indigenous Research Fellowships as part of the scheme.
The purpose of the Macquarie University Research Fellowships (MQRF) Scheme is to support researchers within three years of the award of their PhD who have an outstanding track record (relative to opportunity) and/or who show evidence of excellent research potential. The Scheme provides an incubation period for early career researchers to allow them to increase their competitive edge in securing research funding from non-University sources. In addition, the Scheme aims to enhance the research capabilities of existing and emerging areas of research strength at Macquarie University.
The Dr. phil. Fritz-Wiedemann Foundation has in the past funded several short-term fellowship programmes at the Herzog August Bibliothek which have been of importance for the development of the library's research profile. In order to strengthen research on Enlightement topics, a new Senior Fellows programme has been established, providing two fellowships annually in 2017 and 2018.
