Postdoctoral Research Assistant ┋Research Project "Operation Pangolin: Unifying Diverse Data Streams to Redefine Species Conservation"

The overexploitation of wildlife is a key threat to biodiversity, exemplified by pangolins. The University of Oxford is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant to play a key role in the multi-year international research project, “Operation Pangolin: Unifying Diverse Data Streams to Redefine Species Conservation.” The postholder will be an experienced social scientist, with expertise in conducting fieldwork and data analysis to understand social-ecological systems, including institutional arrangements.

Institute for Ethics in AI Visiting Fellowship

The Institute for Ethics in AI at the University of Oxford proposes to elect three Visiting Fellows each academic year. The Visiting Fellowship is intended to offer an established scholar in an AI-related field who graduated with their doctorate at least 5 years ago the opportunity to engage in a project related to the ethics of Artificial Intelligence. The length of tenure of the fellowship is one academic term (three months). Applications are encouraged from candidates from all countries and all universities.

UiO Postdoctoral fellowship Department of Psychology

A Postdoctoral Fellowship is available at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo (UiO). The appointment is a fulltime position for a period of three years. Depending on the competence of the applicant and the needs of the department, there is the possibility of adding teaching duties to the position, with an upward limit of one additional year. Postdoctoral fellows who are appointed for a period of 3,5 to four years are expected to acquire basic pedagogical competency in the course of their fellowship period. The fellowship is planned to start at the latest by the end of 2024.

College Lectureship and Fellowship in in Modern History and Politics at TRINITY COLLEGE CAMBRIDGE

Applications are invited for appointment to a College Lectureship in in Modern History and Politics, together with a Fellowship, tenable for five years in the first instance, with the possibility of reappointment to the retiring age. The successful applicant will be expected to provide a significant number of supervisions across three interlinked Triposes: History, History & Politics, and Human, Social and Political Sciences (for Politics papers) as well as assisting with direction of studies and admissions.

Applications are invited for Ad Astra Fellowships within the UCD School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics. Candidates must have a PhD in one of the Subject Areas taught within the School (French; German; Italian; Linguistics;  Portuguese; Spanish). Preference may be given to candidates working in School fields that are new or expanding. A university teaching qualification or demonstrable engagement with continuous professional development in pedagogy and pedagogic innovation is welcome. Candidates with demonstrable EDI awareness are particularly encouraged to apply.
