Tyler Visiting Fellowship

The Tyler Visiting Fellowship is a biennial residential fellowship for scholars, art historians, artists, and arts practitioners living anywhere to travel to Tasmania for two weeks to conduct research utilising the Tyler Collection, housed within the University of Tasmania.

Applications close Friday 25th July 2025. The Fellowship is to be undertaken in 2026.

CIMA FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The Center for Italian Modern Art awards a number of Fellowships each year to support the study of Italian modern and contemporary art by scholars at the master’s, doctoral, and post-doctoral level. Citizens of all nationalities are eligible to apply. The intention of the program is to bring together emerging scholars from diverse academic backgrounds in an interactive and collaborative environment at CIMA’s New York location.

Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Linguistics and Human Evolution

Coordinators: Dr. Shigeru Miyagawa & Dr. Mercedes Okumura

We aim to engage a junior scientist who has produced original research in the field of language evolution, has broad bases in formal linguistics and in archaeology, and is willing to work towards the integration between prehistoric material record and evolutionary linguistics, from the perspective of the grammar of prehistoric non-figurative representations. The fellow will be based in the Institute of Biosciences of the University of Sâo Paulo (IB-USP) in Brazil.

USP Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Arts, Language, Communication or Art Anthropology

The research proposition to be carried out on the African continent should turn to the curatorial process in the arts within the axes and periods of this Thematic Project which is funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and hosted by the University of São Paulo's School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH-USP) in Brazil, comprising researchers from several institutions.
