GovAI Research Scholar┋General Track

Research Scholar is a one-year visiting position. It is designed to support the career development of AI governance researchers and practitioners, while offering an opportunity to do high-impact work.

As a Research Scholar, you will have freedom to pursue a wide range of styles of work. This could include conducting policy research, social science research, or relevant technical research; engaging with and advising policymakers; or starting and managing applied projects.

University Research Fellowship

This scheme is for outstanding scientists who are in the early stages of their research career and have the potential to become leaders in their field. These long-term fellowships provide the opportunity and freedom to build an independent research career in the UK or Republic of Ireland and pursue cutting-edge scientific research. 

GovAI Summer and Winter Fellowships

Summer and Winter Fellowships provide an opportunity for early-career individuals or established professionals new to the field of AI governance to spend three months working on an AI governance research project, deepening their knowledge of the field, and forging connections with other researchers and practitioners. We are looking for candidates who are strongly considering using their careers to study or shape the lasting implications of AI.

Rachel Carson – Simone Veil Fellowship

The Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society (RCC) and Project House Europe (PHE), both located at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, invite applications for their joint fellowship. The RCC fosters innovative research and education in the environmental humanities and social sciences. PHE promotes cutting-edge research from around the world on the history of Europe in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
