I Tatti–The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies and Dumbarton Oaks offer a joint, residential fellowship for the academic year. The scholar will spend six months as an I Tatti fellow (from mid-July to mid-January), with their residency in Florence starting September 1. They will spend the spring term in residence in Washington, D.C. as a Dumbarton Oaks fellow.
The College of Fellows – Center for Interdisciplinary and Intercultural Studies (CoF-CIIS) at the University of Tübingen is currently inviting applications for International Research Fellowships in the field of Intercultural Studies, lasting for a period of up to 12 months. The CoF-CIIS is Tübingen University’s Institute for Advanced Studies promoting interdisciplinary research. This is reflected in the CoF-CIIS’s various focus groups, which bring together scholars of different disciplines dedicated to specific topics.

The research library at the Georg Eckert Institute represents a unique tool for international textbook research. The Institute relies on permanent and close academic contact with domestic and foreign researchers and practitioners in the fulfilment of its important role. In order to promote the exchange of ideas internationally and to further develop international textbook research – with an emphasis on comparative approaches –, the Institute has developed a fellowship programme with the support of the Association of Friends of the Georg Eckert Institute.
The GEI awards the Otto Bennemann Grant to promote innovative studies in international textbook research. Otto Bennemann (1903-2003), after whom the grant was named, supported the work of the Institute when he was Mayor of Braunschweig and continued to do so as Lower Saxony's Minister of the Interior. The grant is financed by the foundation he established.
The Research Platform "Transformations and Eastern Europe" brings together researchers from different fields of history, cultural studies, social sciences and legal studies and it is dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of transformation processes in Eastern Europe in the past and present. Together with the Research Center for the History of Transformations (RECET), the research platform represents a space for innovative, interdisciplinary and international scientific thinking about transformation processes at the University of Vienna.
