MindCORE seeks to recruit outstanding postdoctoral researchers for our Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Scholars. Housed within the School of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania, MindCORE is an interdisciplinary effort to understand human intelligence and behavior.
An established scholar who commits to stay at least 30 days in succession at CAARI, ideally during spring to fall, and to be available in evenings and weekends to younger scholars working there, in return for 50% reduction in residency rate. Must have PhD in archaeology or ancillary field for at least 5 years prior to visit, be fluent in English (but may be of any nationality), and be committed to mentoring students. Travel and other expenses not covered.

This annual fellowship is in honour of the late Professor Edgar Peltenburg and provides a stipend to conduct research on Cypriot prehistory (from the first visitors to the transition to the Iron Age). Applicants of all nationalities are encouraged to apply provided they have submitted their dissertation prior to the application deadline and been awarded a PhD degree by the start of the fellowship. Although the fellowship is open to scholars of all ages, priority will be given to early career candidates who have received their PhDs within five years of the start of the fellowship.
Presidential Scholars in Society and Neuroscience (PSSN) is an innovative program pioneering interdisciplinary research between neuroscience and the arts, social sciences, and humanities. Each Scholar in this highly selective program has proposed a novel cross-disciplinary research project at the intersection of neuroscience and at least one other field, which they will conduct over the course of the three-year fellowship. Presidential Scholars join a vibrant community of postdoctoral researchers and faculty mentors and affiliates from across Columbia University.
Stanford’s Center on Food Security and the Environment (FSE) seeks applicants to our postdoctoral fellowship for Fall 2026. The fellowship is awarded to promising young scholars with a demonstrated ability to do innovative and rigorous work related to global hunger, poverty alleviation, and environmental degradation. Successful candidates are expected to lead projects of their own design, while also interacting with other faculty and students at FSE. We encourage candidates from both the social and natural sciences to apply.
The Belfer Center offers academic and professional track fellowships during the academic year. Fellows receive direct access to faculty members and other affiliated experts and are joined by a cohort of fellows in the fields of science and international affairs.
The application period for the 2026-2027 academic year is now open. Applications close on December 1, 2025. Applicants will receive decisions by the end of February 2026.
