Neil Ker Memorial Fund

 

The object of this fund, established by the family and friends of Neil R Ker FBA, is to promote the study of Western medieval manuscripts, in particular those of British interest; that is enabling investigation of their production (including decoration), readership and use in particular.

The fund is not intended to support research visits to read manuscripts for their textual / historical or literary purposes.

Economic History Society Early Career Research Visiting Fellowship

The Economic History Society, in conjunction with the Institute of Historical Research, offers up to four one-year postdoctoral Fellowships in economic and/or social history, tenable at the Institute from 1 October 2024. Fellows will not be required to be resident in London but should participate in the activities of the Institute, by regular attendance at and presentation of papers to appropriate seminars – including the Fellows’ Seminar - and by giving information and help to fellow scholars working in the same field.

Kosovo-Serbia research fellowship

Heartefact is pleased to invite applications for the 2024 Kosovo-Serbia research fellowship program. Fellowships are available for five primarily young to mid-career professionals from Kosovo and Serbia working at local or national institutions, academia, opinion makers, analysts, researchers, or publicly exposed individuals engaged in new media, IT and creative industries.

IFAS-Research (UMIFRE 25, MEAE/CNRS – French Institute of South Africa) has a regional mandate covering twelve countries in Southern Africa: Angola, Botswana, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. IFAS-Research promotes and supports research projects in the Humanities and Social Sciences dealing with this vast area.
