Paul Bunge Prize
The Paul Bunge Prize of the Hans R. Jenemann Foundation is now open for applications for the award next year. The prize is endowed with 7,500 euros and honors studies on the history of scientific instruments. It is awarded for individual works from the last five years or for lifetime achievements. Works can be submitted in German, English or French. Both self-applications and nominations are welcome.
The awarding of the prize is decided by the foundation's advisory board, which is supported by the GDCh and the German Bunsen Society for Physical Chemistry.
Submit your application or proposal, including a cover letter, CV and work on the history of scientific instruments, by September 30, 2024 using the Online form at www.gdch.de/paulbungepreis. Printed copies can be sent to the GDCh Office , addressed to Dr. Jasmin Herr , with digital versions being expressly preferred.

The German Chemical Society (German Chemical Society- GDCh) and the German Bunsen Society for Physical Chemistry (Deutsche Bunsen-Gesellschaft für physical chemistry) invite proposals for the Paul Bunge Prize 2025.
The Paul Bunge Prize honours outstanding research publications on all aspects of the history of scientific instruments. The prize is endowed with 7,500 euros. It is awarded for either individual books or papers published within the last five years or for lifetime achievements.
Submitted works may be published in English, German or French,
Both self-applications and nominations are accepted. Both should include the publications to be considered, a curriculum vitae and a full list of publications. The Advisory Board of the Hans R. Jenemann Foundation will decide on the prize winner.
