University of Bordeaux Visiting Scholars

The University of Bordeaux offers funding for visiting researchers and professors via an annual call for applications within the Visiting Scholars programme. The aim of the programme is to enable the university's research laboratories and departments, as well as doctoral and undergraduates students, to benefit from the presence of scholars with recognised international careers and/or considerable expertise. Therefore, the mobility projects proposed by applicants must be jointly based on research and teaching.

• Its ambition is to structure long-term international collaborations in research and/or training between the University of Bordeaux and institutions abroad.
• The programme covers all areas of research and teaching as well as the impetus of new international partnerships.
• Invited scholars can be hosted for stays of between 1 and 10 months.
