Collective projects

Each year, the French Academy of Sciences and the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) of Taiwan award a major Franco-Taiwanese scientific prize to a team of researchers (one working in a Taiwanese institution and the other in a French institution) for their scientific contributions and achievements, and their commitment to pursuing and developing them.

The prize money is €40,000, to be shared equally between the year's winners.

Scaling up in the ocean energy sector to arrays is a fundamental challenge to be addressed in order to show a reduction of the cost of energy while mastering the risks at project level. There is significant learning to be captured through the demonstration of arrays.
