INTERREG Atlantic Area Call for Projects

As part of the European Union’s cohesion policy, INTERREG Atlantic Area supports transnational cooperation projects in 38 regions of five Atlantic countries: France, Ireland, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom, contributing to the achievement of economic, social and territorial cohesion.

The overall objective is to implement solutions to answer to regional challenges in the fields of innovation, resource efficiency, environment and cultural assets, supporting regional development and sustainable growth.

WaterWorks2015

The WaterWorks2015 ERA-NET Cofund was launched in January 2016 in support of the Water JPI, as a result of a joint collaborative effort with the FACCE JPI. It is funded by the EC under H2020. WaterWorks2015 aims at tackling water challenges at European and international levels through the development of transnational and transdisciplinary research and innovation actions.

Rannís Grants of Excellence to Icelandic Research Institutions

The Icelandic Research Fund (IRF) is an open competitive fund which provides research grants according to the general priorities of the Icelandic Science and Technology Policy Council and based on peer review of proposals. 

The role of the IRF is to enhance scientific research (basic and applied) and research education in Iceland. For this purpose the IRF awards funding to research students and research projects led by individuals, research teams, universities, research institutes, and companies (cf. Act 3/2003 with later amendments).
