Through its mission statements as an institution in terms of theoretical and applied research in life sciences and health, Inserm (French National Institute of Health and Medical Research) aims at advancing scientific research and fostering the transfer of such knowledge to clinical applications.
L’objectif général est de promouvoir et de renforcer une culture de recherche fondamentale et appliquée en SHS sur le cancer en accompagnant l’acquisition de compétences scientifiques et cliniques par les chercheurs et les professionnels, et en améliorant l’offre de formation de haut niveau scientifique. Cette chaire contribuera à la transmission et la diffusion des connaissances et des innovations en cancérologie également au bénéfice des patients, de leurs proches-aidants et du grand public. Des interactions avec les responsables des axes SHS des autres SIRIC sont attendues.
