“Bridge-building is my vocation.” – Prof. David Daiches, IASH Director 1980-86
IASH was founded in 1969 with the pursuit of intellectual understanding as its highest priority. Interdisciplinarity and creativity have defined its history ever since. In our 50th anniversary year, we have created new Fellowships for the most promising scholars in the arts, humanities and social sciences. A Junior Anniversary Fellowship for up to 10 months is available to early career researchers who have completed their doctorate in the last three years.
The Religion, Spirituality, and Democratic Renewal (RSDR) Fellowship of the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) aims to bring knowledge of the place of religion and spirituality into scholarly and public conversations about renewing democracy in the United States. These fellowships are offered by the SSRC Program on Religion and the Public Sphere with the support and partnership of the Fetzer Institute.
The Fellows Award supports talented researchers with bold ideas from across the globe, who aspire to be the next generation leaders in mental health research, as they establish their independence.
