The Daiches-Manning Memorial Fellowship in 18th-Century Scottish Studies

The Daiches-Manning Memorial Fellowship in 18th-Century Scottish Studies is co-sponsored by the Eighteenth-Century Scottish Studies Society (ECSSS), the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS), and the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the University of Edinburgh (IASH). The Fellowship is for two to six months and may be taken at any time of the year.

BIAA Research Grants

Support is intended for postdoctoral level researchers that address one or more of the Institute’s current Strategic Research Initiatives. Proposals may relate to all historical periods up to and including contemporary Turkey. The BIAA is especially interested in supporting projects that employ comparative and cross-disciplinary approaches, as well as those that seek to establish collaborations with other institutions with a view to generating larger overall project funding.

BIAA-ANAMED Joint Fellowship in Heritage Studies

The BIAA and ANAMED joint fellowship will support research in heritage studies, concerned with the understanding, promotion, and/or preservation of the historical and archaeological material culture of Türkiye and the Black Sea region with particular reference to specific sites, monuments, or regions. Successful applicants should have an MA or PhD qualification in museology, heritage management, conservation, or a related specialization, or have appropriate and comparable professional experience in these fields.
