MMCA South Korea International Artists/Researchers Residency Program

MMCA Residency run by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), is pleased to announce calls for the International Artist/Researcher Residency Program 2024.

We are now receiving applications from artists and researchers working in diverse artistic disciplines and conducting professional research projects.

The programs will provide opportunities to engage in creative exchanges with prominent art professionals and various residency programs including exhibitions, open studios and other cultural events in a supportive environment.

University of Michigan President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

In 2011, the University of Michigan joined in a collaborative partnership with the University of California to offer postdoctoral fellowship opportunities at the University of Michigan. In this program, the University of Michigan now offers postdoctoral research fellowships in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), economics, and political science, coupled with faculty mentoring, professional development, and academic networking opportunities.

The COVID-19 global pandemic has resulted in international, national and local travel restrictions. The University of Tasmania’s priority is the safety and wellbeing of our community, including our visitors, and we are committed to supporting the efforts of government and other organisations as we adapt our operations and keep people safe.Given these circumstances the program is currently suspended. We hope it will be possible to reinstate the program in the future.

 

Santa Fe Institute Complexity Postdoctoral Fellowships for Complex System Research

The Complexity Postdoctoral Fellowships, comprising the Omidyar and ASU-SFI Fellowships, at the Santa Fe Institute are unique among postdoctoral appointments. The Fellowships offer early-career scholars the opportunity to undertake their own independent research within a collaborative research community that nurtures creative, transdisciplinary thought in pursuit of key insights about the complex systems that matter most for science and society. The Institute rejects compartmentalized thought common in academia.

Nomis Postdoctoral Fellowships: Theory and History of the Image

The center invites applications from outstanding junior and senior researchers in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences for three one-year NOMIS Fellowships beginning September 1, 2024.
Since 2005, eikones has served as a center for graduate and postgraduate research on images. The center is dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of images as instruments of human knowledge and cultural practices. It investigates the functions and effects of images throughout history and in our contemporary society from analytical and empirical perspectives.

Neukom Postdoctoral Fellows

Neukom Fellows are interdisciplinary positions for recent PhDs whose research interests or practice cuts across traditional disciplinary boundaries, and has some computational component, whether it be a framing concept for intellectual exploration or an explicit part of the work that is pursued.

The Neukom Institute is pleased to announce the Neukom Postdoctoral Fellows competition for positions starting September 1, 2024.

The application site will go live on August 1, 2023, the deadline is December 1, 2023.
