The Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) is offering a full-time postdoctoral position based on-site at BC3 to provide cross-cutting research and coordination support across several climate action initiatives led by Dr. Estibaliz Sanz. The selected candidate will contribute to JUST4CARE (HORIZON-MISS-2024-CLIMA-01) – A Horizon Europe project that will be coordinated by BC3, which seeks to transform climate adaptation by embedding principles of justice, equity, and resilience into urban and regional planning.

The Faculty of Arts, Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in comparative area studies. As part of the project funded by Horizon Europe (ERA Chair in Multidisciplinary Area Studies, ERA-AREAS), this post holder will participate in the newly created Center for Multidisciplinary Area Studies (CenMAS).  The applicant will work closely with the ERA Chair holder, Prof Mariana Llanos, and the research group leader.

At the Centre for Climate Resilience at the University of Augsburg, a position is available in” the research group “Climate Resilience of Human-Made Ecosystems” (Prof. Dr. Katharina Waha) from November, 01st  2025 for a Research Scientist (Foresighting resilient adaptation and land use change) in an initially fixed-term employment for a period of two years with regular working hours.

The job holder will participate in an international research project entitled "Improved urban mobility toward climate neutrality under new working habits and transport modes." The consortium includes institutions from Europe and China. The leader on the European side is Professor Klaus Hubacek of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, the leader on the Chinese side is Professor Yue Bao 鲍月 of Beijing Jiaotong University. The consortium also includes Tsinghua University, Beijing Transport Institute and Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU).

Stipendiary:  4 years fixed term
Stipend:  £32,428 (with a PhD) or £26,376 (without a PhD)

The College invites applications for a stipendiary Junior Research Fellowship in specified areas of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. It will be tenable for four years from normally no later than 1 October 2026 and is not renewable.

A Junior Research Fellowship is intended for a researcher early in their career and, in this case, is restricted to applicants in one or more of the following subject areas:

The AQuA Research Fellowship is a research award intended to assist scholars and historians further their research in Australian LGBTIQA+ history.

The Award commemorates Kevin Anderson who died in 2022, leaving major bequests to three community organisations, including the Australian Queer Archives. Funds for this award were donated in his memory by an anonymous donor.
