Applicants for Post-doctoral Fellow should possess a PhD degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Statistics. Applicants for Senior Research Assistant should possess a Master’s degree or above in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field, and have a minimum of 1 year of research experience. They should be proficient in quantitative analysis and skilled in the use of statistical software(s).

The Director of the National Science Centre (NCN) has announced the MINIATURA 9 call for proposals for research activities that may be carried out in the form of preliminary studies, library and archive searches or research visits. The Seminar for Near and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Basel is offering up to four fully-funded one-year postdoctoral positions in the framework of the collective research group Futures Interrupted: social pluralism and political projects beyond coloniality and the nation-state. Awards of $5,000 available to scholars working on research projects in Byzantine studies, Pre-Columbian studies, Garden and Landscape studies, or related fields.
