FKH Post-doctoral Fellowships

Duration: 12 months, starting on September 1st or October 1st 2025.

The Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften, the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities of Goethe University Frankfurt am Main in Germany, is seeking to appoint up to three post-doctoral fellows in the humanities or social sciences for the academic year 2025/2026.

HISTORISCHES KOLLEG┋Consolidator Fellowships Global South

The Historisches Kolleg invites applications for a Consolidator Fellowship for the 47th Kolleg year (1 October 2026-30 September 2027) aimed at applicants from the Global South, especially Africa.

With the Consolidator Fellowship Global South, the Kolleg aims to promote international exchange and help counteract global inequality of opportunity in academia. The additional funding required is provided by the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BAdW).

Brocher Foundation┋Call for workshops

Workshops may have a maximum of 30 participants of which 12 participants (including a minimum of 6 coming from European countries) will be entirely sponsored by the Foundation (travel, accommodation, and catering). 

Travel Grant

The Brocher Foundation offers a grant of up to a maximum of CHF 6000 to cover the travel expenses of 12 participants.

       a) The grant covers only air/railway travel costs and cannot be allocated to other costs (such as taxis).

       b) CHF 3000 will be paid when the proposal is selected.

Gledden Visiting Fellowship

The Gledden Visiting Fellowships are part of the estate bequeathed to the University by Robert John Gledden (1855-1927).

The purpose of this Fellowship is to support global research collaborations by providing funding to bring outstanding researchers to UWA to conduct research with a UWA host.

Gledden Visiting Fellowships are open to researchers who have doctoral degrees or equivalent qualifications or experience, and who are mid-career or senior researchers.

NWO Talent programme Vici SSH

Vici is part of the NWO Talent programme. The Vici target group consists of researchers at the stage of consolidation and further development of their leadership/research group.

Purpose

The Vici target group consists of researchers at the stage of consolidation and further development of their leadership/research group. The goal of the Vici grant is to contribute to the researcher's development in this area.
