The Institute of Chinese Studies (ICS) of The Chinse University of Hong Kong (CUHK) invites applications for the Visiting Fellowship Programme. This Programme aims to support scholars in Chinese Studies to visit and conduct research at CUHK for a period of 3 to 4 months during the academic year either from January to April, or September to December. While in residence, the visiting fellow is expected to interact with colleagues at CUHK, conduct and present his/her research, and work on a publication project. We are delighted to invite applications for a Visiting Fellowship. This year’s fellowship aims to encourage research on gender or sexuality. 

We welcome applications from scholars working on projects related to this focus and studying Jewish/non-Jewish relations from any disciplinary perspective in the humanities, including but not limited to anthropology, gender studies, history, literature, art, music, archaeology, and religious studies. The area of chronological and geographical specialisation is open. 

The Mieroszewski Scholarship Programme ‘Research in Poland’ provides financial support to foreigners engaged in research activities related to the history, political situation, culture and heritage of the peoples of Central and Eastern Europe.

The Sydney Brenner Research Fellowship, endowed by the Francis Goelet Charitable Trust in 2006, is one of three opportunities offered by the CSHL Center for Humanities & History of Modern Biology. It offers stipends of up to $5,000 to fund travel and other expenses associated with work on a significant research project in the history of the life sciences. Ideal projects will be advanced and broad in scope, with at least some relevance to collections in the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Archives.
