JSPS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM┋SHORT-TERM POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS

The program provides PhD students or PhD researchers in the Europe and North America with opportunities to conduct collaborative research under the guidance of their hosts in universities and other Japanese institutions for a relatively short period of time. A person who has never engaged in research at universities etc. in Japan would be most preferable.

OeAW Incoming Fellowship

The Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) offers international incoming fellowships in order to allow excellent researchers from all over the world to come to Austria. Outstanding researchers wishing to apply for a Marie Skłodowska Curie Individual Fellowship, an ERC Starting or ERC Consolidator Grant are invited for a short term visit to the OeAW, to experience the unique working environment of the OeAW and to avail of the support provided by the Academy.

2 Postdoctoral Research Fellow Positions in Peace and Conflict Research

The Department of Administration and Organization Theory (from August 2022: Department of Government) is recruiting two Postdoctoral Fellows with expertise in peace and conflict research. The successful candidates will be part of the research project “WarEffects – Micro-Level Effects of Civil Wars on Multiple Dimensions of Women’s Empowerment” (www.wareffects.eu), which is funded by the European Research Council (2022-2027).

Rachel Carson – Simone Veil Fellowship

The Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society (RCC) and Project House Europe (PHE), both located at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, invite applications for their joint fellowship. The RCC fosters innovative research and education in the environmental humanities and social sciences. PHE promotes cutting-edge research from around the world on the history of Europe in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

CALAS Guest Chair Germany: Bielefeld & Kassel

The Maria Sibylla Merian Center for Advanced Latin American Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences (CALAS) in conjunction with the universities of Bielefeld and Kassel would like to announce a grant for the position of Visiting Professor from the CALAS Guest Chair Germany. The program is jointly organized by the Center of Interamerican Studies at the University of Bielefeld (CIAS) and the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Kassel (CELA).
