The Africana Research Center invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral scholar position in any aspect of African, African American and Diaspora Studies, beginning July 1, 2018. During their residency, scholars have no teaching or administrative responsibilities, though they may request a teaching assignment. They will be matched with a mentor, attend professional development sessions and other relevant events, and be expected to be active in Penn State’s community of Africana researchers.

CEDEJ and IFAO offer two one-year postdoctoral fellowships (September 1, 2024-August 31, 2025) to recent Ph.D. graduates working on contemporary Egypt from a humanities or social science perspective. One of the fellows will be hosted at CEDEJ, and the other will share their time between CEDEJ and IFAO. The fellows will reside in Egypt and participate in the academic life of the Center(s). They will receive office space and be granted full access to the library.

The Centre for Global Social Policy at the Department of Sociology at the University of Toronto intends to appoint up to 3 one-year or 6 six-month Postdoctoral Research Fellow(s).
