Each year, the Provost’s Office, under the leadership of the Office of Diversity Engagement and Community Outreach, invites scholars from underrepresented ethnic communities to apply for prestigious fellowships.

Postdoctoral Fellowship

The University of San Francisco invites applications for the Gerardo Marín Postdoctoral Fellowship for 2017-2018 academic year. The Gerardo Marín Postdoctoral Fellowship seeks to help increase the presence of currently underrepresented racial and ethnic groups in the U.S. professoriate by supporting post-doctoral scholars.

Czech Government Scholarships for Study and Research Stays

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic (MEYS) annually offers scholarships to foreign nationals within the framework of intergovernmental exchange programmes arranged with the eligible countries (see website).

Scholarships can only be granted to candidates officially recommended for the award by the appropriate authorities in the eligible countries, mentioned in the files above, which collect the applications, set the closing date for applications and organize the selection procedure.

The aim of the POWROTY/REINTEGRATION programme is to improve the human potential in the R&D sector by financing innovative projects designed as postdoctoral fellowships, carried out by young doctors (postdocs) from all over the world (regardless of nationality), returning to scientific research after a break in R&D work, at research units or companies in Poland, working in the most innovative areas, with the involvement of a scientific partner, i.e. local or foreign research partner.

The aim of the HOMING programme is to improve the human potential in the R&D sector by financing breakthrough projects designed as postdoctoral fellowships, carried out by young doctors (postdocs) from all over the world (regardless of nationality), with a special focus on the return to Poland of outstanding scientists of Polish descent, at research units or companies in Poland, working in the most innovative areas, with the involvement of a scientific partner, i.e. local or foreign research partner.
