Elizabeth and Cecil Kent Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the History of Britain and the British World

The Department of History at the University of Saskatchewan is pleased to invite applications from qualified early career scholars for the Elizabeth and Cecil Kent Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the History of Britain and the British world. This Fellowship is tenable for two years, commencing September 1, 2017. Recent Fellowship winners (2012 and 2014) have gone on to tenure-stream positions at universities in Canada and the USA.

Fellowship "Revolutions in Historical Perspective" at Ohio State University

The OSU Center for Historical Research will present a two-year program (2017-2019) devoted to a broad exploration of the theme of "Revolutions". From the ancient world to the Arab Spring, revolutions have shaped human experience in profound ways. Our two-year program is  organized around four broad topics: categories of revolutions; origins of revolutions; the processes and experience of revolutions; and outcomes of revolutions. It will feature a series of seminars, workshops, and lectures by leading scholars from the U.S.

Nanzan Institute for Religion and Culture International Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship

The Nanzan Institute for Religion and Culture is happy to announce the third fellowship for one post-doctoral student who has received a PhD from a university outside of Japan in the field of religious studies with a focus on some aspect of religion in Japan. The fellowship is supported by a Nanzan University program for the promotion of global exchanges.
