Three Visiting Fellowships in Marburg/Giessen

The DFG Collaborative Research Centre “SFB/TRR 138: Dynamics of Security. Types of Securitization from a Historical Perspective", a cooperation of the Philipps University Marburg, the Justus Liebig University Gießen and the Herder Institute for Historical Research on East Central Europe, Marburg, Central Germany, is pleased to offer three visiting fellowships for excellent young researchers. The fellowships are available for a period of three to six months, either starting in January, February or March 2019.

The Masaryk Institute and Archives of the Czech Academy of Sciences is offering one to two-year postdoctoral positions, starting on January 1, 2017.

History of Science in Central Europe in the 19th and 20th Centuries

Central European political and/or social history 1848–1918

Eligibility

This position is open to young post-docs (max. two years after acquiring Ph.D.). The candidates must hold their Ph.D. degree at the time of applying for the position.

M+ / Design Trust Research Fellowship in Hong Kong

The M+ / Design Trust Research Fellowship 2020 will support two separate fellowship projects; one fellowship will support a research project focused on Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area in an Asian or global context, and the second fellowship will support a research project related to Asia more broadly, closely in line with the curatorial position of the Hong Kong–based institution M+.

Bonquois Postdoctoral Fellow in Women's History

The Bonquois Postdoctoral Fellow in Women's History is a full-time, twelve-month position (July 1, 2026-June 30, 2027) at the Newcomb Institute. The Bonquois Postdoctoral Fellow will be a historian whose research is intersectional and engages with the history of women and/or gender in the U.S. A research focus on 20th century women’s history in the Gulf South is preferred though not required.
