Fellowships at WiKo Berlin

The Wissenschaftskolleg invites outstanding researchers from all disciplines and all parts of the world to spend a research year in Berlin. For each “class”, the Wissenschaftskolleg aims to bring together the most diverse and stimulating group possible of about 40 Fellows. Each candidate is first and foremost evaluated on the basis of individual accomplishments in his or her field of endeavor.

Nominations and applications for Fellowships can be submitted at any time. It should be noted that the selection is made about two years in advance.

Three Visiting Fellowships in Marburg/Giessen

The DFG Collaborative Research Centre “SFB/TRR 138: Dynamics of Security. Types of Securitization from a Historical Perspective", a cooperation of the Philipps University Marburg, the Justus Liebig University Gießen and the Herder Institute for Historical Research on East Central Europe, Marburg, Central Germany, is pleased to offer three visiting fellowships for excellent young researchers. The fellowships are available for a period of three to six months, either starting in January, February or March 2019.

The Masaryk Institute and Archives of the Czech Academy of Sciences is offering one to two-year postdoctoral positions, starting on January 1, 2017.

Eligibility

This position is open to young post-docs (max. two years after acquiring Ph.D.). The candidates must hold their Ph.D. degree at the time of applying for the position.
