Sylvia Naish Fellowships and Scholarships in Germanic Studies

Endowed by a generous bequest from the estate of Sylvia Naish, one Fellowship and one Scholarship is offered annually for research into any area of German language and literature at the ILCS and its Germanic Studies Library and Archives. The awards are designed to assist scholars by providing a contribution to temporary living expenses in London, or enabling those in employment to take leave to further their research.

IASH-National Museums Scotland Fellowship

Applications are invited for the IASH-National Museums Scotland Fellowship from postdoctoral scholars in any area of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, to carry out research based on collections held at the National Museum of Scotland.

Initialisation scholarships for female postdoctoral researchers

According to the “Female Professor Programme of the State and the Federal States” (Professorinnenprogramm des Bundes und der Länder), the University of Erfurt announces initialisation scholarship for female postdoctoral researchers.
This scholarships aim to fund female postdoctoral researchers that intend to apply for a third-party funding, or participate in the application process of a larger project at the University of Erfurt and who wants to gain experience in project management after the application for third-party funding has been successful.
