The Philip Lee Phillips Society, the Geography & Map Division, and the John W. Kluge Center invite qualified scholars to conduct research at the Kluge Center using the Geography & Map Division's collections and resources.
The Nietzsche Fellowships help finance the academic, journalistic or artistic pursuits of selected fellows. Scholarship recipients are chosen not on the basis of academic qualification, but on the originality and seminal character of their projects for future research beyond the limiting constraints of the academic sector.
The Center for Italian Modern Art awards a number of Fellowships each year to support the study of Italian modern and contemporary art by scholars at the master’s, doctoral, and post-doctoral level. We aim to engage a junior scientist who has produced original research in the field of language evolution, has broad bases in formal linguistics and in archaeology, and is willing to work towards the integration between prehistoric material record and evolutionary linguistics, from the perspective of the grammar of prehistoric non-figurative representations. The fellow will be based in the Institute of Biosciences of the University of Sâo Paulo (IB-USP) in Brazil.
The research proposition to be carried out on the African continent should turn to the curatorial process in the arts within the axes and periods of this Thematic Project which is funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and hosted by the University of São Paulo's School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH-USP) in Brazil, comprising researchers from several institutions.
This programme offers former scholarship holders the opportunity to carry out research and working projects in Germany and to maintain contacts as part of DAAD's global alumni network. The scholarships are funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
