Postdoctoral Fellowships "Resilience and natural disasters"

The French Red Cross Foundation, a research organisation dedicated to humanitarian and social action, carries the will of the French Red Cross to commit to an effort of analysis with regard to suffering and ways of addressing it, anticipating the needs of vulnerable populations in France and in developing countries, and supporting new models for operations, training and capacity reinforcement. As such, it has decided to launch a call for applications for a postdoctoral fellowship on the topic of the prevention and management of natural risks and disasters.

CALAS/HIAS Fellowship┋Latina/o/x Cultures in the United States – Past, Present and Futures

The Maria Sibylla Merian Center for Advanced Latin American Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences (CALAS) and the Hamburg Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS) appoint outstanding scholars, scientists, and artists from (Latin) American research institutions to pursue their research projects for four months on-site in Hamburg and two months at Bielefeld University, Germany.

Applications for collaborative or individual research projects are equally welcome under this scheme.

Funds are available to facilitate initial project planning and development; research assistance; and to enable the advancement of research through conference/workshop or visits by or to partner scholars. Applicants may seek support for any combination of eligible activity and cost up to the overall limit of £10,000. Applications will be assessed equally on their merits, with no preference as to the mode of enquiry.

“Research in Ukraine” Scholarship Programme

Research. Prestige. Support. Future. The “Research in Ukraine” Scholarship Programme aims to support Ukrainian scholars conducting research in the fields of history, culture, and politics of Central and Eastern Europe. This initiative fosters academic collaboration, especially between Ukraine and Poland.

The programme is open to researchers holding Ukrainian citizenship.

The scholarship covers a broad spectrum of topics related to history, contemporary challenges, and Polish-Ukrainian relations, including:
