The YLA is open to early to mid-career researchers, preferably between 2 to 12 years after PhD completion, YLA fellows will be appointed for a period of 2 years.
We are delighted to announce that EUTOPIA Global Partners Stellenbosch University (SU) and Monash University (MU) are joining the 3rd call of the YLA. Their presence will further diversify and internationalise this group of promising researchers from EUTOPIA.
IAS Visiting Fellowships support visits of from ten days to ten weeks in order to enrich the academic life of the University and create lasting links with established academics and other high-profile figures from around the globe. These fellowships advance the mission of the IAS by bringing new expertise and knowledge to Warwick in order to share it with an interdisciplinary audience of researchers and to create ongoing research collaborations.
Awarded annually by HNOC and the Louisiana Historical Association, the Kemper and Leila Williams Prize in Louisiana History highlights excellence in research and writing on Louisiana history.
Administration and funding for the Kemper and Leila Williams Prize is provided by the Historic New Orleans Collection. The prize jury is appointed by the Louisiana Historical Association with a chairperson from the Historic New Orleans Collection. The prize includes a cash award of $1,500 and a plaque, presented each March.
The SUS programme, proposed jointly by the Centre for Advanced Study Sofia and the New Europe College Bucharest, aims to support scholars from the regions affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine.
The Karl-Kaser-Visiting-Fellowship is aimed at early career researchers from the fields of history, social and cultural anthropology, ethnology, cultural studies and sociology. It aims at facilitating the transitory phase between the time following a PhD and the next academic career step. Applicants must have completed their PhD at a university in Southeastern Europe. The Junior Visiting Fellow will spend a semester in Graz to conduct and present research and collaborate with other researchers. The decision will be announced by mid January 2025.

Applications are encouraged from universities seeking to recruit excellent research leaders of any nationality, currently working outside the UK, in order to fill strategically important positions in this country. The Trust has allocated at least £100 million over five years to fund these grants. Grants are for a period of five years.
Each UK university is permitted to make only one bid per round.
