GovAI Research Scholar┋General Track

Research Scholar is a one-year visiting position. It is designed to support the career development of AI governance researchers and practitioners, while offering an opportunity to do high-impact work.

As a Research Scholar, you will have freedom to pursue a wide range of styles of work. This could include conducting policy research, social science research, or relevant technical research; engaging with and advising policymakers; or starting and managing applied projects.

FNS Postdoc.Mobility

Submission deadline: 03.02.2025 17:00 CET

Postdoc.Mobility fellowships support researchers after the doctorate who wish to conduct a research stay abroad.

The fellowships are aimed at researchers with a doctorate and at researchers who will complete their doctorate within nine months after the submission deadline. Researchers with a medical degree that includes a doctorate are also eligible to apply. The fellowships are generally awarded for 24 months, but never for less than 12 months.

University Research Fellowship

This scheme is for outstanding scientists who are in the early stages of their research career and have the potential to become leaders in their field. These long-term fellowships provide the opportunity and freedom to build an independent research career in the UK or Republic of Ireland and pursue cutting-edge scientific research. 

Rachel Carson – Simone Veil Fellowship

The Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society (RCC) and Project House Europe (PHE), both located at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, invite applications for their joint fellowship. The RCC fosters innovative research and education in the environmental humanities and social sciences. PHE promotes cutting-edge research from around the world on the history of Europe in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

Bithell Fellowship in German Studies at the Institute of Modern Languages Research

The ILCS is delighted to be able to offer funding for a researcher in the field of German Studies wishing to spend three to six months in the Institute, its Library and Archives, during the academic year 2025-26. The Visiting Fellowship is sponsored by the Bithell Trust, set up in memory of Jethro Bithell and Alice Emily Bithell, generous donors to the Institute of Germanic Studies (forerunner of the ILCS).

HUMAN+ Fellowship Programme

HUMAN+ is an international and interdisciplinary fellowship programme led by the Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Research Institute and ADAPT, the Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Digital Content Innovation at Trinity College Dublin, and supported by the prestigious European Commission (EC) Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND Action. It will select up to 18 experienced researchers for a 2-year post-doctoral programme and unique research and training space.
