Industrial Fellowships Programme

The aim of the Industrial Fellowships programme is to foster the cooperation between Luxembourg based companies active in R&D and public research institutions in Luxembourg and/or abroad. The scheme awards PhD and Postdoc grants to researchers who carry out their PhD and/or postdoc training in collaboration with a company in Luxembourg. The scheme is open to all scientific domains, and to all researchers, regardless of their nationality. Collaborating companies must have a presence in Luxembourg.

The Industrial Fellowship scheme has two strands:

The Einstein Foundation Award for Promoting Quality in Research

The Einstein Foundation Award for Promoting Quality in Research in cooperation with the QUEST Center for Responsible Research at the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité (BIH) aims to provide recognition and publicity for outstanding efforts that enhance the rigor, reliability, robustness, and transparency of research in the life sciences, natural sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities, and stimulate awareness and activities fostering research quality among scientists, institutions, funders, and politicians.

NCGG Postdoctoral research associate

The Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance (NCGG) at Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs invites applications for postdoctoral or more senior research associate positions from individuals with a Ph.D. degree or who expect to receive a Ph.D. degree by August 1, 2024, for the 2024-2025 academic year. These awards are designed to promote basic research in the broad areas of international and comparative political economy, international organization and global governance, and globalization.

The Edgar J. Peltenburg Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Cypriot Prehistory

This annual fellowship is in honour of the late Professor Edgar Peltenburg and provides a stipend to conduct research on Cypriot prehistory (from the first visitors to the transition to the Iron Age). Applicants of all nationalities are encouraged to apply provided they have been awarded a PhD degree by the start of the fellowship. Although the fellowship is open to scholars of all ages, priority will be given to early career candidates who have received their PhDs within five years of the start of the fellowship.
