Each year, the Foundation awards twelve scholarships (two of them in cooperation with the Reinhard Frank-Foundation) to selected postdoc researchers, junior professors, and heads of junior research groups. The objective is to reinforce the autonomy and creativity of the up-and-coming generation of scientists and to pave the way for the committed researchers’ careers during their productive postdoc phase.
L’appel à projet est ouvert à tout chercheur ou enseignant-chercheur, titulaire ou non, affilié à un laboratoire de recherche rattaché à un établissement d’enseignement supérieur et de recherche ou à un organisme public de recherche français, et bénéficiant d’une compétence dans les champs et thématiques mentionnés.
Depuis 2024, trois types de projets peuvent être soumis à l’appel à projets « Islam et société » du ministère de l’Intérieur :

MSCA COFUND supports new or existing doctoral programmes and postdoctoral fellowship schemes.
Afin d'encourager et de promouvoir la recherche dans le domaine de la défense, le conseil scientifique de la recherche historique de la défense attribue un "Prix d'histoire militaire" pour les thèses et un "Prix d'histoire militaire" pour les masters 2e année. Les travaux seront soumis à l'évaluation d'un jury.
Le prix est remis aux lauréats par le ministre de la défense lors d'une cérémonie officielle. Le montant de ces prix s'élève à 5 000 euros (cinq mille euros) pour les thèses et à 1 000 euros (mille euros) pour les masters 2e année.
Lancée par PSL, avec le soutien de L'Oréal, la nouvelle chaire de recherche "Beauté(s)" crée un écosystème dédié à la réflexion interdisciplinaire sur la notion de beauté. Pour son lancement, la chaire ouvre des appels à candidatures : 2 contrats doctoraux et 1 prix de thèse PSL-L'Oréal 2019.
Depuis 2017, ce prix développé en partenariat avec la Fondation de France récompense une thèse de doctorat en langue française qui contribue à une meilleure connaissance du champ de la protection de l’enfance. Il a été étendu depuis l’année 2023 aux champs de l’adoption et de l’accès aux origines personnelles.
Attribué tous les deux ans après sélection par le conseil scientifique de l’ONPE, ce prix est destiné à soutenir les travaux de jeunes chercheurs et à rendre visibles les thèses en protection de l’enfance innovantes et de qualité.
The David H. and Beverly A. Barlow Grant supports innovative basic and clinical research on anxiety and anxiety-related disorders conducted by graduate students and early career researchers.
