Postdoctoral fellowships "Risks – Health – Humanitarian Aid"

The French Red Cross Foundation has decided to join forces with the AXA Research Fund to launch a call for applications for two postdoctoral fellowships on the theme of sanitary and climatic risk management in developing countries. The AXA Research Fund supports scientists and institutions of excellence whose research is linked to the environment, health, new technologies and socio-economic risk. Applications can focus on one of the three following research themes.

Postdoctoral fellowships "SSE and migrations"

The French Red Cross Foundation has decided to join forces with the Fondation Crédit Coopératif to launch a call for applications for two postdoctoral fellowships on the place and impact of social and solidarity economy action in the management of the European migration crisis. The Fondation Crédit Coopératif actively supports research on and for the social and solidarity economy (SSE), with the aim of creating a bridge between the fruits of research in the social sciences and humanities and the practices of SSE actors.

Postdoctoral fellowships "Humanitarian Transition : the Stakes of Autonomy"

The French Red Cross Foundation, a research organisation dedicated to humanitarian and social action, carries the will of the French Red Cross to commit to an effort of analysis with regard to suffering and ways of addressing it, anticipating the needs of vulnerable populations in France and in developing countries, and supporting new models for operations, training and capacity reinforcement. As such, the Foundation has decided to launch a call for applications for a postdoctoral fellowship on the transformations of international humanitarian aid.

Research Grants: Jewish Women in France During the Second World War and the Post-War Period

In partnership with the Institut du Genre, the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah offers a doctoral and a post-doctoral grant for young researchers working on the history of Jewish women in France during the Second World War and the post-war period (1939-late 1950s).

The applicants may be French or foreign students, duly registered in a doctoral program and linked to a research team. Awarded for one year, the grants may be extended on request.

Allocations post-doctorales IRSEM : Défense, stratégie, sécurité

Le programme postdoctoral IRSEM Europe a pour objectif de financer un séjour de 12 mois au sein de l’antenne de l’IRSEM située à Bruxelles pour un profil de post-doctorant engagé sur un projet de recherche relatif aux enjeux de sécurité européenne, quelle que soit la discipline universitaire en sciences humaines et sociales (sciences politiques, géographie, économie, droit etc.). Un ancrage des recherches durant la thèse sur des enjeux sécuritaires dans l’espace européen est une condition au recrutement. Ce programme peut financer jusqu’à deux allocations par an.

Eugene Fleischmann Scholarship in Anthropology, Archaeology, Epistemology

The Société d’ethnologie offers an annual « Eugene Fleischmann Scholarship » to support a young post-doctoral researcher or a doctoral student about to complete his or her thesis for an original and innovative one year post-doctoral research project. The disciplines concerned are anthropology, comparative sociology, ethnomusicology, archaeology, prehistory and epistemology.

The amount of the grant is € 8,000.

Appel à candidatures "Etoiles montantes en Pays de la Loire"

Accompagner les jeunes chercheurs prometteurs afin qu'ils puissent décrocher à court terme un financement de l’ERC (European research council) Starting ou Consolidator Grant.

Objectifs

L’objectif de cet appel est d’accompagner les jeunes chercheurs et jeunes chercheuses des Pays de la Loire dans leur trajectoire prometteuse, plus particulièrement, sur une période de transition entre leur projet JCJC (ANR) et un dépôt au guichet ERC (European research council) Starting Grant ou Consolidator Grant.
