RIJS Program on US-Japan Relations Postdoctoral Fellowships

During the 2025-26 academic year, the Program on US-Japan Relations, which is part of the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University, will offer postdoctoral fellowships for outstanding scholars in the social sciences. Scholars in a broad range of fields, including anthropology, economics, (modern) history, law, political science, public health, and sociology, among other fields, are invited to apply. A knowledge of the Japanese language is not required. The fellowship recipient must hold a Ph.D. by July 31, 2025. Please note that the fellowship is contingent upon degree documentation and is subject to rescission if the deadline is not met.
