Postdoctoral Research Associate Position on Contemporary China
The Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China of the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS) invites applications for a postdoctoral or more senior research position for the 2018-19 year (12 months), preferred start date September 1, 2018, with possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance. Open to highly qualified researchers who received their Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Social Science or related field no more than three years prior to the start of the appointment; must conduct research on contemporary China and big data under the guidance of faculty. Internal and external candidates are eligible. Applicants with or in tenure or tenure-track positions are ineligible. Selection is based on academic excellence, quality of research project, compelling demonstration of anticipated synergy with the University. Scholar will be in residence and participate in all of the Center's activities, including student-faculty seminars, workshops, and public lectures. He/she will have opportunities to collaborate with the Center's faculty. This position is subject to the University's background check policy.
